On our foreign visits we select the bloodlines that achieve the highest awards for the top fanciers year after year. Famous strain names and so called pure families are of little interest to us. It is the absolute top line of pre-potent pigeons that we feel can produce racers of the highest quality.
Birds of these bloodlines are tested by ourselves and our partner in the biggest one loft races around the world; Mike Ganus of Ganus Family Lofts, Indiana, USA. Mike is owner of arguably the strongest breeding loft in the world, with over 30 National Ace and Olympiade champions currently at stock. View breeders

Orleans and Strombeek 27th June 2009

This weekend was saw the first young bird race of the season from Strombeek and the National NPO old bird race take place from Orleans. Many races in Belgium were cancelled on Saturday due to thunderstorms however Barabant 2000 decided to liberate at Orleans. It proved to be not an easy race with many good performing birds missing.
Orleans National NPO race a distance of 470 km to Nieuwendijk.

First bird was 08-225 the son of '605' from 'Caliph x Poppy' paired to the super hen 'Chanel'. This is the third 2nd prize that '225' has won this year. The clock was regulated at the club after the race and was corrected by 2 seconds and 225 lost the first prize by 1 second!
Second bird was 08-234 bred from 'Young Solo' x a daughter of 'Kannibaal King'(Young Couple). This pigeon '234' was the first bird to the loft in last years Orleans Young Bird National NPO race winning 14th prize.
Third bird was 07-640 bred from GFL 157 a son of 'Ikon' x a daughter of 'Patriot' two Dutch National Middle Distance Ace Pigeons.
The first young bird race of the season from Strombeek a distance of 105 km also was very erratic with many youngsters missing at nightfall.

First bird was 09-422 from 'Hurricane Run' (Son of the Young Couple) x 'Black Betty' direct from Roziers bred from 'Texas Girl' (Pinnocio x Queen L). 'Texas Girl' is the mother of 'Perfect Light' winner of 1st Natonal Zone Bourges 13049 b-2nd National Bourges 31824b.
Second bird was 09-346 bred from GFL440 a son of the Famous 'Golden Mattens' x GFL1033 a daughter of 'Creator'
Third bird timed was 09-960 bred from a son of 'Kannibaal King' (Young Couple) x 'Chanel'

June 20th saw two races taking place.
The morning race was from Creil a distance of 330 km.

First bird in the clock was 08-218 the yearling checker cock from Outlaw (Son Figo..Reynaert) x Kirsty (Drum x Gerrie), a previous winner this year and last year as a youngster.
Second bird was the super hen 08-214 the daughter of Golan (Young Couple) x Steffi (Dtr Golden Gaby).
Third bird was 08-199 from a son of Kannibaal King (Young Couple) paired to Venus a daughter of Attila x Rianne.
The afternoon race was the Grand Prix race from Blois 533km.

First bird was 07-650 a grand daughter of Super Champion the Olympiade Ace Pigeon all round.
Second bird timed today was the 07-130 a direct Martin Van Zon pigeon that has scored well before.
